Blackout Poem Morphed Character Learning Spheres
Two in One
Theme Questions
1. There's a huge difference between being inspired from someone else's art and completely stealing their art. Being inspired could mean that you are using one idea from the piece or taking your own interpretation of their piece into your art. Stealing one's art would be copying someone's art and taking credit for it.
2. I think it's perfectly okay to take an idea from someone's art as long as you are adding your ideas to your piece as well.
Final Piece Questions
1. I combined a mouth and a leaf because I was inspired to use a body part from looking at other two in one pieces but I wanted to see if I could find an object that has the same overall shape of a tongue, which is where the leaf came in.
2. I chose paint because this way I could get the exact color I wanted for the mouth and leaf. I also chose paint because there's a variety of brushes to use for whatever purpose you need.
3. I would go back and put more detail into the leaf. I'd try to make the veins clearer and try to have symmetry with the overall shape of the leaf.
4. The most successful part of my piece is the crispness of it. I really like how I painted the background black because it makes the actual two in one part really stand out.
