Newspaper Art
1. I learned that with using newspaper as the base I can be a lot looser with how I paint, draw, etc. I can be looser because you don't have a solid background and so it won't show your mistakes as much as it would on a solid background.
2. This piece is successful because you can clearly tell what I painted says. You can also still see the text and pictures from the newspaper behind the paint.
3. To make it better I would've only painted my name and no dots or squiggles so you could see more of the newspaper.

Clay Animal
1. This was the first I used clay since fifth grade so I learned a lot. I learned that stuffing the dome shape you've created with newspaper helps hold its structure. I also learned that adding water to the clay makes it stickier.
2. This piece is successful in its shape. I really like the smaller details in it like the ears, eyes, nose, and tail.
3. To improve this piece I would try to create shadows with the paint to make it more realistic.

Nature Art
1. In this mini lesson I learned that there's an actual name for creating pieces only using things found in nature. I also learned that almost anything in nature can be very versatile and be used for different parts in your piece.
2. Parts that are successful in this would be the texture. I like how we used something fluffy like dandelions and something smooth like leaves to create a unique piece.
3. To better this I would've added more flowers or leaves to add more color and texture.
